She’s back! Come celebrate Ann’s return to gigging. Seattle Jazz Fellowship presents Ann Reynolds quartet (Ann - piano; Tobi Stone - tenor; Heather Chriscaden - bass; Evan Woodle - drums. Jazz Fellowship has a cool listening room in Pioneer Square. On this evening, there are two bands. Ann’s quartet plays 7:30-8:30 and Ian Hughes (guitarist) plays 8:30-9:30.

Lively and entertaining, Clave Gringa comes to North City Bistro with two horns (Daniel Barry on trumpet and Nathaniel Schleimer on tenor sax and flute), phenomenal percussionist Willie Garza, new star bassist Julian Weisman, and the leader pianist and vocalist Ann Reynolds.  The band will take you on a journey through Cuban music from the classically oriented danzon and cha-cha-cha styles to the African folkloric sounds and rumba. You won’t be able to sit still! Clave Gringa plays original Cuban jazz originals composed by the leader, pianist Ann Reynolds, and Cuban standards that capture the joy and positive energy of Cuba.

Special Matinee to allow more people, especially students to attend. “Inspired by Women Composers” is a concert based on the 2021 recording of the same name that received the Earshot Golden Ear Award for Best NW Jazz Recording of 2021. The Ann Reynolds Trio (Ann Reynolds-piano; Kelsey Mines-bass; Christopher Icasiano-drums) presents Ann's compositions honoring 4 women composers (Mary Lou Williams, Carla Bley, Geri Allen, Christine Jensen) and compositions by each composer. The award-winning trio works interactively to interpret this music. Included in the presentation is a brief historical and musical introduction about each woman composer.
