Lively and entertaining, Clave Gringa comes to North City Bistro with two horns (Daniel Barry on trumpet and Nathaniel Schleimer on tenor sax and flute), phenomenal percussionist Willie Garza, new star bassist Julian Weisman, and the leader pianist and vocalist Ann Reynolds.  The band will take you on a journey through Cuban music from the classically oriented danzon and cha-cha-cha styles to the African folkloric sounds and rumba. Jazz Fellowship Wednesday is cool event at the funky Vermilion Gallery on Capitol Hill. You will feel like you stepped into a hidden jazz club. We will play original tunes by Tobi and Ann and jazz standards.
